This isn’t the first time Teigen has spoken frankly about her relationship with drugs and alcohol.

In 2017, Teigen toldCosmopolitanthat she was taking a break from drinking.

“I was, point blank, just drinking too much,” she said.

Teigen further elaborated that, for her, some of it came with the territory of her job.

“I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine.

Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show.

And then a bunch at the awards show.

And then I felt bad for making kind of an ass of myself to people that I really respected.

And that feeling, there’s just nothing like that.

It’s not a good look for me, for John, for anybody.”

At 20 weeks pregnant, Teigen sadly suffered pregnancy complications and miscarried.

Teigenshared with her followersa picture of herself in the hospital, as well as a message to Jack.

The couple also expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support they received during their toughest times.
