Emily in Parishas proven to be another hit for Netflix.
The show helped introduce Park, a Broadway star, to a bigger audience.
There’s a lot to love about the character of Mindy Chen, and Park agrees.
“Mindy’s such a great friend,” she told thePhilippine Daily Inquirer.
“I think she’s the kind of friend that I would want and I aspire to be.
I think she’s 100 percent, you know you’re free to tell her any problem.
I adore Mindy and I just really love that friendship comes really effortlessly to her.”
Shebonded with Collinson the set ofEmily and Parisand also grew close to the rest of the cast and crew.
Park enjoyed playing Mindy, and not just because she’s such an endearing character.
The role also gave her the opportunity to travel, asEmily in Pariswas filmed on location in France.
“I had never been to Paris before in my life,” she said.
Just like Mindy, Park had always loved Paris.
