Broadcast journalist Larry King recently revealed hisdiagnosis with COVID-19and subsequent hospitalization.

Establishing a long-standing, illustrious career, Larry King holds a special place in many television enthusiasts' hearts.

In 2020, two of his children died.

“Losing them feels so out of order.

No parent should have to bury a child,” he continued.

“My family and I thank you for your outpouring of kind sentiments and well wishes.

In this moment, we need a little time and privacy to heal.

I thank you for respecting that.”

To move through the grief, King got back to work.

He toldPeople, “I’m 86 and it is what it is.

I just want to keep working until the end.

I’d like to die at work I’ll retire right there!”

Hopefully the host will be able to return to his first love as soon as possible.
