However, before she has the chance to tell her beau, an active shooter begins terrorizing the hospital.

At the end of “Sanctuary,” the assailant comesface to facewith Dr. Shepherd, shooting him.

Uninsured, Henry’s von Hippel-Lindau syndrome has left him needing surgery he can’t afford.

Initially opposed to an actual romantic relationship with Henry, Teddy continues to treat her now-husband as a friend/patient.

After a tumor is discovered in Henry’s heart, he dies during the risky surgery to remove it.

Later, the hospital is officially renamed Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital to honor Lexie and Mark.
