“She has a downwards inflection on the end of her sentences or words,” Corrin explained.

According toGlamour, Corrin only watched the Netflix documentaryDiana: In Her Own Wordsto prepare.

“I didn’t watch another documentary,” she explained.

I watched it before I did any audition.

Furthermore, Corrin prepared by having meetings with Diana’s private secretary, Patrick Jephson,Refinery29asserts.

Jephson reportedly aided in Corrin’s replication of the princess' mannerisms and airy movements.

“I feel I’ve got to know Diana like you would a friend,” the actress toldVogue.

“I know that sounds really weird, but I get a great sense of companionship from her.

I love figuring people out.”
