Sadly, their son Garrett died from a drug overdose in 2012.
“I didn’t really sleep last night, but I didn’t spend it with the trophy.
Well, I did I spent it with my trophy wife, how’s that?”
“Every day is a special day, I’m telling ya.
I call her my girlfriend for that reason.
You never lose interest if you do that, right, you guys out there?
Call them your girlfriend and you always do special things for them.”
Like many couples, the Reids have been through a lot together.
Two of their children, Britt and Garrett, struggled with addiction throughout their youth.
In 2007, Tammy opened up toPhilly Magazineabout raising children who wrestled with addiction.
Tammy continued, “We raised these boys.
Are we going to be there for them all the time?
Yes, no matter what happens.”
