The subject came up in October when Hudson appeared on buddy Gwyneth Paltrow’sGooppodcast.

“I think it can be a little sibling-y at times.

Thankfully, McConaughey was confident enough to provide some context that clears his name.

Entertainmentand explained why he wasn’t surprised by Hudson’s assessment.

“It’s like, ‘OK, here’s the scene: You’ve just jumped from the helicopter.

You’re in the middle of the ocean.

“You’re glad to be alive!

But in reality, that’s not a picture-perfect set-up for romance.

[They’re] like, ‘No, we better do another take.’

Then, he realized that’d been the situation in most scenes where they kiss.

“Kate and I’s kisses have been awkward,” McConaughey says.
