They’ve also been married during all of thesehome makeovers, too.
Perhaps the toughest part for the two was that they were given just $225,000 to do it.
Berkus, it seems, was barely able to keep them under budget.
“Half of my journey was telling Nate, ‘No,'” Brent admitted.
Because of all these restrictions, a bit of stress obviously ensued.
And just like any other married couple, these two really know how to aggravate each other.
However, they still wouldn’t have it any other way.
“And that’s usually where the most interesting things are born.”
Even with that being the case, disagreements on design are something that could never tear these two apart.
Working together throughout all aspects of their life is something Brent and Berkus are accustomed to.
Even when times are tough, Berkus and Brent know they’ll always be the dream design team.
“There’s no one else I would have rather done this with,” Berkus said.
“There’s no one else I would even dream of doing it with.”
