We’ll miss that dry humor, butepisodes ofJeopardy!hosted by Trebekwill continue airing through December.

He also knew how to use a joke to support the show’s contestants.

Trebek was amused and decided to join in on the fun.

Unfortunately for Trebek, the contestants ended up chickening out on their agreement.

Trebek demanded the camera reveal all three men wearing pants.

Normally during Final Jeopardy, contestants are hunched over their podiums, focusing as they write down their answers.

However, as the camera panned over contestant Dhruv Gaur, he just grinned at the audience.

Assuming Guar just felt confident in his answer, Trebek called on him first.

What Guar had actually written was, “What is we love you, Alex!”

Trebek’s voice wavered as he said, “That’s very kind, thank you.”

Soon, #weloveyoualex started trending on Twitter as fans shared their affection for the beloved host.

I’m just very grateful I got the opportunity to say what I know everyone was thinking.

Sending all the love.”

Based on the outpouring of love from fans after Trebek’s passing, we all shared Guar’s sentiments.
