During the interview, Harris revealed something she said she had never been asked before.
“And she [my best friend] said, ‘Just trust me.
I did,” Harris says.
This is a reveal!"
But he had a dating secret of his own, too.
“One of my buddies was in town, and we went to a Laker game.
I said, ‘What do you think I should text her?’
I’m texting you,'” he confesses.
When Harris asked her husband: “You guys composed it together?”
He responded: “We did.
So, that’smyreveal!”
She knew Emhoff professionally in 2013, a time when Harris was California’s Attorney General.
They went out on their first date shortly after that call (viaThe Mercury News).
He said, “I want to see if we can make this work.’
We’ve been making it work ever since.”
Harriswill be making historyin more ways than one on January 20.
She also brings with her a blended family that includes Emhoff’s ex-wife and their children Cole and Ella.
