Counting Onstars John David and Abbie Duggar have welcomed their first child, a girl, into the world.
Abbie hada difficult pregnancy.
Her husband toldUs Weeklythat she suffered from severe morning sickness and was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum.
It was so severe that Abbie was even hospitalized more than once.
“We made multiple visits to the ER for dehydration,” said John David.
“She couldn’t eat, pretty much, or drink, or anything.
So she was actually on IVs and had IVs at home.
So that was a pretty scary time.”
She weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and measured 20-3/4 inches long.
“She is a beautiful gift from God!
We are so blessed the Lord has given her to us.
