On CNN, Anderson Cooper asked Jones for his thoughts on Biden’s victory, andhis reactionwas heartbreakingly emotional.
Jones began, “It’s easier to be a parent this morning.
It’s easier to be a dad.
And it’s easier for a whole lot of people.
You know… the ‘I can’t breathe.’
That was not just George Floyd.
And this is a big deal for us to get some peace and have a chance for a reset.
And the character of the country matters, and being a good man matters.
It is a good day for this county.
I am sorry for the people who lost, but for most, this is a good day.”
