BH90210has something for everyone, fan of the original series or not.
SoBH90210plays out as a show based on a show within another show.
It’s all very meta.
“It’s quite a confusing concept to grasp at first, I understand,” Garth explained.
“At first [people] thought, ‘Oh, this is reality show!
You’re playing yourselves?’
But no, it’s not a reality show and no, it’s not a straight reboot.”
Think ofBH90210as theCurb Your Enthusiasmof ’90s teen dramas.
But back in 1992, they were a Grammy-nominated R&B group with some serious star power.
is a sweet nod to the many bands that have appeared on the original series during its decade-long run.
Just thank Color Me Badd for setting the90210musical precedent.

Turns out, it may actually be true sort of.
But the biggest bombshell?
Turns out she took things off set with Brandon Walsh himself, Jason Priestley.
The actress spoke of her infamous feud with Jennie Garth toHuffPostin 2012.
Ten years after90210ended, Doherty and Garthhad made amends, and the pair now consider each other friends.

This feels a little familiar.
“You’ll just have to keep your eyes peeled for recognizable faces.”
If this is what “heightened” characterization is all about, we are here for it.
BH90210sees you, Brandon Walsh fanatics, and it’s dealing with that unresolved romantic tension head-on.
It’s the Kelly/Brandon happily-ever-after fans always hoped for, so long as that wholeadulterything can be overlooked.
The rest of the cast felt it appropriate to pay homage to the late star with the revival.
It cuts to a title frame with the message, “For our friend Luke Perry.
