The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has reported that famed golferTiger Woodshas been in a serious car accident.
Per the statement, “the vehicle sustained major damage.”
Woods was driving the car and was not accompanied by any passengers.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.

“He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support.”
