Speaking toLarry King, he revealed, “He was like a brother to me.
We were close friends.
We worked onFour Featherstogether in 2000 and since then we had become very, very close.”
But it’s not the first time Bentley has spoken out about his close friendship with Ledger.
“At one point we were as close as two people could get without being blood.
It would have been isolating, not to mention boring, without him.”
“Whenever we got together, especially early on, we were all about pushing ourselves to be better.
Sharing one specific memory, Bentley recalled, “He wrote his poetry on the computer.
I wrote mine by hand.
Then he looked down and went, ‘Oh [expletive].
Shouldn’t have done that.'”
We can only imagine how much Bentley must still miss him today.
