Plus,citrus fruits, if unripe, should be allowed to ripen at room temperature.
They then should be stored cold and only returned to room temperature right before eating.
(Not a good thing, since thegreen part might make you sick.)

Preventionsuggests storing whole garlic bulbs in a dark kitchen cabinet or a paper bag in the refrigerator.
Properly stored garlic can last several months, as can onions stored in a dark cabinet.
