Dolly Partonhas always followed the beat of her own drummer.

Parton made the revelation on a recent episode of the podcastCody Cast.

“I put up my Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving,” she said (viaBuzzFeed).

“I celebrateChristmasand Thanksgiving until my birthday on the 19th of January.

I always make them leave my decorations up ‘till after my birthday, ‘cause I am still celebrating.”

That means that, in total, Parton’s decorations are up for nearly two months.

We can’t really blame Parton for wanting to keep the festivities going, though.

Who wouldn’t want to keep the party going?

“I plan to be on the cover ofPlayboymagazine again,” she told60 Minutes Australia(viaE!

“See, I didPlayboymagazine years ago.

“We do all the traditional stuff, like everybody else,” she said onCody Cast.

“The turkey and dressing.

She also carries out a family tradition of serving chicken and dumplings.

“My family loves that,” she said.
